They say necessity is the mother of invention and that holds true with how The PatternGrid® came to be a reality. As a fairly new long-arm quilter in 2001, I found that using pantographs was very awkward without reference lines. The idea of an accurately gridded plastic to help with pantograph placement as well as elongating and shortening repeats was the start of The PatternGrid®. Many other uses were discovered along the way and in 2002, Colorado Quilting Company, LLC was formed to introduce The PatternGrid® to the world. In the following years, The PatternGrid® was joined by The PatternGrid® Jr, and Piece O’Grid. Look for us at several of the long-arm related shows across the country. Thank you for your continued support and “Just Grid and Quilt It®”
